Requirements for Iowa Licenses

    Professional Service License (Iowa Institution) If the university or college that you attended to receive your Master's degree in a PSL field is located and/or based in Iowa, use this application.

    Professional Service License (Out of State Preparation) If the university or college that you attended for your Master's degree in a PSL field is located in another state, use this application. This includes online programs that may have a presence in Iowa, but their main campus is located out of state.

    Class G Counselor If you do not hold a teacher license, but you have completed all requirements to serve as school guidance counselor with the exception of the practicum, use this application.
